DAY SCHOOL

Our day school offers an integrated secular and Jewish curriculum from kindergarten through fifth grade. The program has been carefully designed to include all of the important educational skills areas, as well as those enrichments that make for a well -rounded student.

The learning is accelerated, which includes critical thinking skills throughout instruction. With small classes, students get more individual attention and more time to fully explore the world around them.

The staff is dedicated to providing a fine secular education together with a Judaic curriculum designed to develop students who are emotionally and historically connected with the Jewish people.

JODY STEELE


Jody Steele has been a teacher and administrator in private and public schools in California, Minnesota and Florida. She has had the joy of working with children of all ages, from tiny infants to high school seniors.

After obtaining a BS in education from the University of Minnesota, Ms. Steele went on to teach in the elementary grades and then host a television program for preschool children. Moving to South Florida opened new opportunities as she went on to private education in teaching and administration. After earning a MS in Educational Leadership from the University of Miami, she served as a principal at Gulliver Academy in Coral Gables for the primary school, the elementary division, and the middle school over a number of years. In the last six years, she has been the General Studies Principal for students in early childhood, elementary and middle school at the RASG Hebrew Academy on Miami Beach.

Ms. Steele finds it very gratifying to work with teachers, parents and children in developing a shared vision for excellence in education. She has a vast experience in designing and implementing curriculum, developing learning teams, and building new programs. She welcomes open communication and parent involvement.

Ms. Steele and her husband truly love living in South Florida where they have raised two sons and are now proud grandparents!
