Religious School

Our religious school gives children and their families access to the toolbox that Judaism provides to help us live our lives to their fullest potential.

We achieve this through a weekly Shabbat morning experience that includes interactive study, a lively and spirited musical Shabbat service, a relevant and dynamic look at the weekly torah portion and participation in the Beth David community Shabbat Kiddush.

Once each month our Shabbat is geared for parents and children. Parents are encouraged to join us for a discussion of the weekly torah portion and the ways in which its values can impact family life. Parents then join their children for the service and Kiddush.

On Wednesday afternoons, our 3rd through 7th grade students learn Hebrew and prayer skills, Jewish holidays, and Jewish values, and develop a connection to Israel and Jews around the world. Cantor Julie Jacobs provides Private B’nai mitzvah preparation to those approaching this life cycle event.

Our conformation program for 10th through 12th graders meets one Sunday each month and in 5768 features a humanitarian mission to the Jewish community in Cuba.
